On February 28th, U2Demo was presented at the BRIDGE Knowledge Sharing Session on Cross-Sector and Multi-Energy Integration. he BRIDGE Working Group on Regulation hosted the session to support ongoing knowledge exchange between European energy projects. It served as an open space where project teams could share updates, compare experiences, and learn from each other.
The event brought together members of the BRIDGE community from across all working groups. Participants explored key aspects of energy sector integration and discussed barriers that still slow progress. In addition, several projects shared their solutions and best practices. These included U2Demo, ENFLATE, SENERGY NETS, and EV4EU.
Hugo Morais, Project Coordinator at INESC-ID, represented U2Demo at the session. He shared clear and practical insights on the democratization of energy access. He also explained how U2Demo develops consumer‑centered strategies for Peer‑to‑Peer (P2P) energy trading and energy sharing. His contribution highlighted the importance of involving communities in shaping Europe’s evolving energy landscape.
