We’re pleased to share that U2Demo featured in 2025 BRIDGE EU brochure, a key publication supported by the European Commission. The brochure highlights more than 120 Horizon Europe projects that contribute to smart energy systems, citizen engagement, and digital tools for the energy transition. It also offers readers a clear overview of the initiatives driving Europe’s shift toward a more flexible and sustainable energy system.
The BRIDGE initiative brings together EU‑funded projects working on smart grids, energy storage, digitalization, and energy islands. It creates a space where projects can exchange ideas, align methods, and learn from one another. In addition, the 2025 edition explains the BRIDGE mission, outlines the strategy behind its four Working Groups, and presents detailed factsheets for each participating project. The U2Demo factsheet appears on page 112. It showcases our work on peer‑to‑peer energy trading and the project’s efforts to support citizen‑led energy communities.
